Keeping up with Thelma

Thelma came to Marshwood Adult Education to gain the skills necessary to become a better reader.  A past "Can Do" award recipient, she has continued to come weekly to meet with her teacher and has discovered a wide variety of authors, including Leo Tolstoy.  Thelma completed work on her story "Memoirs of Lords Lane" with the help of instructor Nora Irvine.  The story is now in digital format, with Thelma providing voice over and she plans to share it at the Huntress Family Reunion later this summer.  She continues to knit and has donated colorful handknit pinchusions to the home economics students at Marshwood High School.  Way to go Thelma - keep up the good work!

Pictured with Thelma is Marshwood Adult Education's new Director, Lorraine Robida.
