In this seminar, you will learn how to write a nonfiction collection of narratives describing personal experiences, emotions, and events. This class was designed to record your precious memories and family stories for future generations. The instructor, Jill Braceland, has been designing and delivering interactive and practical writing topics seminars for over 30 years.

Previous cold-process soap-making experience is required for this class. In this course, you will learn how to formulate your own recipes, which natural colorants you can use to color your soaps, basic swirling techniques, and use of essential oils in your soap. You will leave this class with 2 lbs. of soap and your soap mold. Students should wear long sleeves to class.

In this 2-hour workshop participants will learn how to create DIY herbal salves, sachets, eye compresses, lip balms, and bath balms. We will also discuss gift presentation. All individuals will take home products they made in the workshop with instructional printouts. Cost of material and supplies are included in the price.
Have you always wanted to learn how to knit? Or has it been a long time since you've picked up the needles? Maybe you're stuck on a project. Join us in a relaxed and fun atmosphere! You'll learn how to cast on, knit and purl, read a pattern, as well as repair mistakes in an easy-going class. It's fun to be part of a creative community. All levels are welcome. You'll need a skein of light-colored Red Heart Worsted Weight yarn and a pair of size needles (size 7 or 8 is best). Other small supplies will be discussed. Get ready to learn how to make all kinds of items suitable for gift-giving. One of Vicky’s favorite patterns is a dead fish hat which she is happy to share. Get ready to laugh with Vicky, she certainly makes knitting fun. Sessions are taught separately, with no prior experience required.

In this six-week course, we'll cover the entire process of writing your first novel, from idea conception and planning out the structure of the book to writing your draft to editing your manuscript and strengthening the story to become the best it can be. You'll learn how to set achievable goals for your novel, how to make the most out of your writing time, and how to craft an irresistible plot, characters, and setting. Submit excerpts from your novel draft between class sessions and we can discuss how to address any challenges you're facing along the way. You will also gain access to the instructor's prerecorded digital course "Author Activator: How to Write and Publish Your First Novel" as part of this course (normally $397).
