Previous cold process soap making experience is required for this class. In this course, you will learn how to formulate your own recipes, which natural colorants you can use to color your soaps, basic swirling techniques, and use of essential oils in your soap.

You will leave this class with 2 lbs of soap and your soap mold. Students should wear long sleeves to class.

Decorative embroidery is one of the most universal forms of self-expression, spanning many centuries of history and culture. Embroidery is a fun way to upscale clothing with your own art. In this workshop, the teachers will provide instructions on basic stitches and how to make an iron on a pattern to start an embroidery sample.

Materials will include a small hoop, fabric, thread, and needle. No experience is required! The registration fee benefits Adult Education students’ emergency needs.

Wire Wrap Jewelry Basics

Class includes instruction on using small tools, using 22 “gauge wire”, jump rings, wire crimping, designing, accenting, and creating from shared learning in a small group setting. Bring tools, old jewelry to upcycle, and beads for your creation. The instructor’s tools will be available for use during class and basic materials will be provided.
