Create an expressive art journal that requires no artistic ability or special supplies. Discover this powerful tool for self healing, relaxation, motivation and goal setting. Learn how to use expressive art journaling to increase empowerment as well as to decrease anxiety and depression.
Since expressive art journaling is focused more on you expressing yourself than specific art technique, the list of potential supplies you could choose to use is endless. You will be creating your own, unique page so it is not necessary for you to have specific supplies for class. When you register you will receive a materials suggestion list for things you have around the house.
This is an in-person 6 week course.
Bring your yoga practice outdoors, connect with nature, and try something new! This is a 90 minute Beginners SUP Yoga Class! We will review basic paddle techniques and safety instructions prior to anchoring down for a 60 minute relaxing SUP Yoga Class.No Experience Necessary. You must be able to Swim.
Cheryl is a 200 RYT Yoga Instructor and is currently training for her 500 hour RYT. She is an Occupational Therapist, Nutritionist, Life Coach, Snowboard Instructor and Owner of a small Kittery Based Business, Tides of Life SUP Yoga. She enjoys being outside whenever possible and volunteering/leading Beach Clean Ups at Seapoint Beach for Blue Ocean Society Conservation for Marine Conservation. Paddleboard, Anchor, PDF Life Vest, and a Paddle are provided. Class is limited to 7 participants.
Bring to Class: Arrive in clothing that can get wet and are comfortable to move in.
Class Meets at Cutts Island Trail/Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge at 37 Seapoint Road in Kittery Point, Maine. Parking alongside the side of the road.

Kristie Rabasca is a professional engineer, gardener, and stormwater geek. She has worked on projects protecting water resources in Maine and New Hampshire for over 25 years. She assists the Towns of Berwick, South Berwick, Kittery, Eliot and York in managing their stormwater programs.
